“There is a noise from something loose that I had checked out a couple times with no success. It comes from the back end of car near truck area and sounds like a loose muffler or a knocking/vibrating manifold when driving over bumps or a rough surface. The noise wasn't as noticeable when I got it in 2010, but has become more noticeable over the years. The maintenance and car is well cared for.”

I am the original owner of this vehicle I have service records of all oil changes on time. Toyota never sent out a mail regaurding this problem”

My wife noticed and said it wasn't normal she google it and said that it was a recall on the dashboards being defected. I'm trying to find out what step do I need to take in rectifying this issue.”

“The dash on my 2007 Camry is sticky and soft. It creates a glare that at times makes it difficult to see. It accumulates dust and dirt. I contacted Toyota regarding any recall and was told there is nothing. In addition both visors have failed which also appears to be an issue with this year of vehicle.”

NHTSA complaint #11141405, filed 2018-10, 200,000 miles

“Sticky dashboard - I've been told by a customer service rep at Toyota customer service center (national) to not drive my Camry if the dashboard creates a safety hazard do to the glare. So one year later, Toyota still hasn't replaced the dashboard... 24 months after they announced the extension on the warranty... Help”
