“Tipm failure, dealership wants to charge me over $1000.00 to repair. Van started acting up in the electrical department . Windows rolling down, key fob not working, cruise control going out, wipers acting up, heated seats not working, AC and heat weakening, intermittent issue to start the van, then stopped running all together, now won't even turn over. Then I took it to dealership after having battery and alternator tested (all good) and had to bring it home cause they wouldn't take a payment plan. …”

NHTSA complaint #11165285, filed 2019-01, 105,000 miles

“Car will turn over but not start. Had it towed to a dealer while away from home on a family road trip. After several hours of waiting the dealer said the problem was a fault with the tipm and that it would need to be replaced at a cost of over $1100 dollars. I have no other alternative, but what an expensive repair.”

NHTSA complaint #10758557, filed 2015-08, 64,500 miles

“Six year old boy sitting on booster seat in second row seat found he could reach the seat recline lever. Seat head rest collapsed and entire seat lifted up and forward. Boy was bent in half and lifted up vertically in seat, receiving minor injuries.”

NHTSA complaint #10486705, filed 2012-12, 16,000 miles

“This minivan is equipped with a factory installed, electric 3rd row seat. It is a split (2/3 -1/3) configuration. The switches to control these seats are on the left rear panel just inside the door jam. The options are: stow, normal or rear facing. You can control one or both seats for each option by use of the rocker switch position. Both seats were in the normal (upright) position and luggage was stored behind the seat. A child seat was sitting on the left side of the rear seat. …”

NHTSA complaint #10633796, filed 2014-09, 31,000 miles

“On 4/9/12 I was involved in a serious accident that resulted in my daughter obtaining a severe traumatic brain. She was in critical condition and is now severely disabled. The back curtain airbags did not protect her and did not appear to work properly. I believe that the vehicle was not properly examined after the accident. The car was a rental vehicle and my family was out of state on vacation. Due to the severe injury of my daughter I believe that the airbags failed.”
