“While driving under multiple circumstances, while rolling from a stop or in gear already, the transmission will unsafely move on its own power. It will stutter if I hit the gas. It will not go sometimes and other times it will be so delayed that after I left my foot off the gas, the transmission will then go.”
NHTSA complaint #11651074, filed 2025-03“There should be a recall on the sunvisors. Because it is a safety issue, because when the Sun is in your face and you can't see driving it can very well cause an accident or getting a ticket for not being able to see your speed that you're going, because you're so far up trying to get the Sun out of your face. You can't see any of the controls or your dashboard.. That is a safety hazard. My driver's side one is broken. I can't use it at all and I'm not paying $200 to get it fixed. That's insane on top of that.My passenger side is one is starting to break as well. Also, my car is very sluggish. …”
NHTSA complaint #11754925, filed 2026-08“In April of 2025 I got my normal oil change and I mentioned to the technician that the car seems to be jerking more than usual when I start trying to accelerate. They mentioned that the car needed the coolant flushed out and that could be contributing to the issue. I had it done in June. It was not causing the issue but the jerking got worse. So this month, August 2025, I took the care to Aamco Transmissions and Total Car Care. They did a full systems and diagnostic courtesy check and determined that I need my transmission replaced or rebuilt which is at least $7k. This is a 2021 Ford Edge. …”
