“Every day at random when I drive to work I notice in what seems milliseconds that the digital gauge cluster screen will shut off and back on almost instantly, but slow enough that I notice it. It is always random and I have no way of replicating it. I noticed it after about 2,000 miles on this brand new truck.”

NHTSA complaint #11636813, filed 2025-01

“APIM real‑time clock failure. Dealer refuses repair, states ‘software issue’ for 16 months. Clock resets instantly to 12:00, cannot retain time. Will also blink sometime to current time and then immediately back to 12:00. This displays both on my head unit as well as my heads up display.”

NHTSA complaint #11739424, filed 2026-05

“Dashboard is occasionally black when the truck is started. The gauges don't work, and an alarm starts ringing. After a short while the gauges start to appear on the screen one at a time. this has happened several times in the few months that I've owned this truck. I see that a recall has been issued for the 2025 and 2026 Model F150's but it is also happening in my 2024 F150 that I bought new in February 2025.”

NHTSA complaint #11702587, filed 2025-12

“The digital dash cluster will randomly blank out while driving. After it sits for aboutba few hrs parked, it will turn back on just to repeat it down the road again. I tried bring it up with the dealership a few times and I was told they aren't able to replicate the issue and it's within factory spec. This is extremely dangerous since this creates issues of not knowing how fast the vehicle is going, and no indicators of what the truck is doing.”

NHTSA complaint #11726894, filed 2026-03

“After operating the vehicle normally and backing into a parking space, I stopped the vehicle and selected Park, turned the vehicle off, and exited. Before the driver’s door was closed, the vehicle began to roll forward unexpectedly. I ran back to the vehicle and reentered it to regain control, with the driver’s door still open and the seatbelt not fastened. After stopping the vehicle, I selected Reverse, at which point the vehicle surged backward unexpectedly. …”
