“The windshields are extremely prone to cracking and chipping. I am now in need of my fourth windshield from an acorn falling off a tree and hitting my windshield while going 25mph. I have had multiple Ford F150s and have never replaced a windshield, I have not changed my driving habits and every one has been from an extremely minuscule incident such as this. I know of at least three other F150 owners at my place of employment who have been through at least one windshield on their newer trucks as well. There is something wrong with these windshields.”
NHTSA complaint #11768323, filed 2026-10“Almost all functions connected to the steering column quit working. I do not have working turn signals, high beams or wipers, unless the wipers are on high. None of the functions on the steering wheel work. It seems like a safety issue to not have functioning turn signals or properly finctioning wipers and high beams. No lamps or warnings.”

NHTSA complaint #11619098, filed 2024-10, 20 miles“The contact owns a 2024 Ford F-150. The contact stated while driving 55 MPH, the driver's side window was vibrating. The contact stated there was no warning light illuminated. The contact stated that the failure was constant while driving at various speeds. The contact stated that the failure occurred with either of the rear windows was opened slightly. …”

The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the lights on the instrument panel were inoperable. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed with a failed junction box. The contact was informed that water and mold had gotten into the junction box and caused the damage.
