“Vehicle started leaking oil loss oil pressure and was informed that I needed an oil filter housing replacement that's on back order 56,000 or more! I have to pay a car note on a vehicle that I can't drive because of a issue with dealers not having the parts to repair it! This is not right and my vehicle and all vehicle like mine should be recalled!”

NHTSA complaint #11404172, filed 2021-03, 97,987 miles

“At 61,609 miles the torque converter came apart ruining the transmission. The vehicle would not engage in gear; when driving it would not stay in gear. This occurred without warning while I was on the road and almost caused an accident since the vehicle slowed down suddenly and without warning. In addition to needing a new transmission, I was told the combo cooler also needed replaced.”

NHTSA complaint #11331143, filed 2020-06, 61,609 miles

“My wife was parked at a gas station 5 miles from our home and all outlets and lights began billowing smoke into the cabin. The fire department was called and they disconnected the battery. It has 30000 miles driven. She had to evacuate the children, and it was towed to a Chrysler dealer (miller in lebanon, nh) we are waiting for a diagnosis.”

NHTSA complaint #11060935, filed 2018-01, 30,000 miles

“The vehicle has cylinder #2 misfire code. Two separate independent local mechanics both suggest this is due to pitting of the cylinder head material. They tell me it is a common problem with this engine, 3.6l. I called Chrysler and they are not willing to stand behind their product.”

NHTSA complaint #11376352, filed 2020-11, 80,000 miles

“Driving home from work with vehicle behaving normally. I slowed down for traffic light and felt a hesitation when trying to accelerate. I was then unable to gain speed and was impeding traffic. The vehicle was inspected by a certified auto repair where they were unable to drive and had to push into garage. Diagnostic code for loss of hydraulic pump pressure, internal transmission failure. The transmission was replaced At that time.”
