“When turning on the right front turn signal my emergency flashers come on instead of the turn signal. Fog lights doesn't work at all. Wind shield wipers come on randomly whether it is raining or not. These all happen when driving the vehicle. Sometimes the vehicle will turn off right after starting. I have to re-start.”

NHTSA complaint #11339868, filed 2020-07, 79,000 miles

“The leather dashboard on my Jeep Grand Cherokee is delaminating (I.e., detaching from the dashboard). Chrysler is aware of the problem and issued an x-81 extended warranty (which they failed to communicate to consumers) and is now refusing to take steps to correct the issue. This problem causes a distraction while operating the vehicle and if it continues to worsen it may impede visibility.”

NHTSA complaint #11374536, filed 2020-11, 88,000 miles

“When parked, I tried to lock car using key fob, which armed the alarm but did not lock the doors. I tried using master power lock on driver side door to lock it, but this didn't work either (none of the doors will lock). Separately, after leaving this parked spot, I tried using the windshield washers while driving to clean the windshield, but the sprayers did not work. Only the wiper blades activated. After a diagnostic test by repair shop, I'm told the totally integrated power module needs to be replaced.”

NHTSA complaint #11076918, filed 2018-03, 98,000 miles

“I was washing my car in my driveway while I was washing my car everything was fine. As I started to dry all of a sudden there was a large crack on my windshield starting from rear view mirror. I know I was leaning on the top of my car to wash and dry but I know I'm not large enough or strong enough to make this crack. I never leaned on the windshield ever. After reading other people's concerns with this situation I could have leaned on the car and added more pressure to an already pressure point to the vehicle. …”

NHTSA complaint #10594685, filed 2014-05, 30,925 miles

“Around sep of this year chrysler notified me of two recalls on my Jeep Grand Cherokee; p36 / NHTSA 14v-391 (sun visor wiring) and p14 / NHTSA 14v-154 (brake booster corrosion).. When I contacted the local dealer they told me to wait until oct as the manufacturer didn't have parts available. I contacted the dealer, planet Jeep in flagstaff, az on 10 oct and was told chrysler was rationing parts and that they would place me on a list. I've been in that virtual queue waiting on parts since 10 ocvt 2014 and every time I call the dealer I'm still on the list. …”
