“I have two major issues. The first being that the leather on my dash has completely shriveled up into weird bumps and looks horrible. I'm not sure what would of caused it because it is something that I have never seen before. The second thing is that my back right suspension is messed up. The back left side of my Jeep sags when I put it in park and as it lowers into park level.”

NHTSA complaint #11265823, filed 2019-10, 170,000 miles

“The paint on the inside of the hood is bubbling. I believe it is due to iron contamination from the factory. It didn't start bubbling bad until recently. Jeep has had this problem numerous times and ive seen hoods replaced over this. However, my factory warranty has since expired and the manufacturer refused to help me. I wax and polish the car annually so this is completely surprising to me”

“On the first of march, my wife and daughter were about to start their day in the usual way. She opened the garage door and used her key fob to remote start our 2012 Jeep gc limited ( around 42k miles) ( factory installed remote starter) she walked away for less than 4 minutes and returned to see smoke coming from front passenger side of Jeep. She called for me, and pushed the aux button to be sure the vehicle was off. …”

“I had the car for 3 years and didn't have any issues. Last saturday evening 4/14/17 we had just gotten home from running to the store and black smoke started to come up from the front right side of the hood. I backed the car out of the garage and went around the car to see what the issue was. Saw sparks, grabbed my son from the back ran and called 911. With in 5 min the front of the Jeep was on fire. Took 30 min to put out and the car is totalled.”

NHTSA complaint #10979174, filed 2017-04, 64,000 miles

“On june 24, 2016, between 1:30 pm and 2 pm, I was driving from brentwood ca to vallejo ca on hwy 780 w and after turning a curve on the freeway which sloped down towards curtola parkway, I applied the brakes at about 30 miles per hour after I emerged from the overpass which was at least 5 car lengths before the cars ahead of me which was stopped at a red traffic light. However, the Jeep continued to roll even though I pressed on the brakes to the floor board. …”
