“The recall is 10 months old and no remedy offered. Every time I get behind tge wheel I'm risking an injury or death of myself or someone else. I can't sell my vehicle because it would put the next owner at risk. Do I have to wait until there's an injury or death to have something done about this?”
NHTSA complaint #11738123, filed 2026-05“There are times that my 2022 Ford F150 Powerboost will not accelerate. Mostly if I roll in a turn and press on the gas pedal. I don't hear anything, like it's a auto/stop issue. I'll have to come to a complete stop, or I'll have to leave my foot on the pedal, then it's like it kicks on with high RPM. There's no warning lights or messages. This time while I was on the highway during stop and go traffic.”
NHTSA complaint #11720911, filed 2026-02“MFTR Recall 28S75 NHTSA Recall 25V 455 This is a safety risk recall issued over 7 months ago and Ford still does not have a remedy to fix the problem. So far my F150 has not experienced the problem, but do I just keep driving and one day the vehicle stops running, maybe while I'm traveling on an interstate at 70 mph. I think it's time to pressure Ford for a fix before someone has a tragic accident. Thanks”
NHTSA complaint #11719200, filed 2026-02“My truck is/has been experiencing engine power issues on occasions when its hot. There are no engine light warnings. I believe issues is the fuel pump and there is a recall about this exact issue. I spoke to dealership and they said they have no remedy. I chatted with a Ford company customer service associate and he would not help either despite this is a major safety issue. We are afraid to drive the vehicle and no one at Ford will help us.”
NHTSA complaint #11677865, filed 2025-08“Where is Ford at on the recall from like July 2025? NHTSA 25V455, safety recall notice 25S75. How long do they have to get a resolution? Seems like they have had plenty of time to resolve this issue. It seems more important than this last recall for a computer update. I can choose not to haul a trailer. I cannot choose for a stall due to loss of fuel pressure and flow from fuel pump failure. I am only curious of how long they are allowed to come up with a solution.”
