“We tow our vehicle and it is having a real bad wobble. This happens when we make sharp turns while in tow only. After the turn it usually corrects itself. We are concerned that this may be the same problems they are having with the earlier make jeeps which is referred to as the dearth wobble. We have an appointment with a dodge dealer to check it out.”

NHTSA complaint #11278216, filed 2019-11, 20,000 miles

“On highway going 70 MPH with cruise control set and all of a sudden our Jeep went out of control and started to the left. Was able to regain control after a few seconds, but was very lucky there was no other vehicles to our left or we would have crashed into it. On july 18, 2018, recall 18u65183 18-u6-51-83 reprogram PCM with new software was installed.”

NHTSA complaint #11115821, filed 2018-08, 2,500 miles

“I nearly died on 5/8/19 driving my Jeep. I was going about 60mph on the expressway in the far left lane. My sos 🆘 went off on my phone and immediately I lost control of the car and wheels started turn into left and right. There was no more power steering and I had to struggle and force the wheel to the right and left so I wouldn't crash into the divider wall on the left and cars on the right when it would change lanes. This went on for what seemed forever. …”

NHTSA complaint #11207080, filed 2019-05, 22,000 miles

“See note to insurance company I received my 2018 Jeep back yesterday 7/10/19 after months of waiting for farmers to regain possession after stolen and recovered in mexico and repairs to be done. I drove the car home from bumper to bumper last night. When I tried to drive the car home from the gym today the window on the passenger side stating going up and down by itself. I was going 45 miles an hour. When I tried to stop it with the switch the transmission locked up and all power died. The car skidded 10-15 feet toward a intersection. I almost went through the windshield. …”

NHTSA complaint #11230852, filed 2019-07, 4,000 miles

“While being towed by an rv, the Jeep started violently wobbling which shook my 40,000 # rv pretty hard. This started after a slow (about 5mph) left turn. The wobbling did not stop until completely stopping the rv. This has only happened once in 5,000 miles of being towed. Has never happened while driving the Jeep about 11,000 miles.”
