“At 70000 miles, my air conditioning system began to hiss and not operate fully. I am told it has a leak in the system but as I look online, this is a common Jeep problem for 2015 models. They are recommending a system replacement on a 4 yr old vehicle (at the time of first occurrence). Normal wear and tear. No off road use. It's not isolated.”
NHTSA complaint #11328020, filed 2020-06, 75,000 miles“The active headrest on the passenger seat spontaneously deployed while I was driving to work. There was no rear end collision to cause the deployment. I was the only occupant in the car when it happened. It startled me so much that I almost ran off the road when it happened. I was driving about 35 MPH on a city street about 8:00 am.”
NHTSA complaint #11328386, filed 2020-06, 65,000 miles“I thought somehow I broke my headrest and didn't realize. But when I went to look it up and to my surprise I see hundreds of people with he same exact issue. Car was not moving and was parked behind my business, came back to the headrest deployed. Surprised Jeep hasn't recalled this yet seems like a major issue, can't even imagine if someone was sitting and it exploded.”
NHTSA complaint #11377977, filed 2020-12, 51,000 miles“Since I had the exhaust emissions update done, my Jeep has an extremely long lag in acceleration. It takes a good 2-3 seconds after stepping on the throttle, before the car moves forward. I was almost hit head on in traffic on a highway because of the timing of not accelerating properly. This was never an issue before the exhaust update.”
NHTSA complaint #11243101, filed 2019-08, 64,000 miles“At a patients home. Jeep was parked, approximately 10 minutes went by and one of the people in the home started yelling my vehichle was rolling backwards. The driveway is flat surface. It managed to take out a fence and damage the back end of my Jeep. Luckily another person in the home was able to run amd jump in it before it hit trees going down a large hill.”
