“I called our dealership to schedule the repair for this recall; they indicated that parts have been back ordered and they are only getting one part per week to accomplish repairs. They have a waiting list established on which I am number 62, which at the current rate of receipt of parts, I would be waiting for about 15 months to get the recall repair completed. For a recall that could potentially cause a crash without warning, this seems like something that should be addressed more quickly than 15 months.”

NHTSA complaint #11583815, filed 2024-04

“On 01/30/26, I delivered my vehicle to an authorized Jeep dealership for the third time in connection with Safety Recall 68C involving the hybrid battery system. The recall addresses a battery defect that carries risk of fire. This is the third occasion on which I have had to leave my vehicle with the dealership because the recall repair has not been successfully completed. During the most recent service appointment, the recall repair procedure failed. I was informed that the hybrid battery would require full replacement and that the vehicle could not be returned to me. …”

NHTSA complaint #11718349, filed 2026-02

“Dealer inspection states my Jeep needs to be repaired as described in 23V-413, however the parts are on back-order with no ETA. I opened case #867-835-10 with Chrysler.”

NHTSA complaint #11533631, filed 2023-07

“I am reporting a critical structural suspension failure and dealer safety negligence on my 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee (30,000 miles, clean title). Sequence of Events & Safety Hazards: 1. July 7 & July 13, 2026: I brought the vehicle to the authorized Jeep dealership Suburban Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Troy because a rear splash shield was hanging. The technician zip-tied it first, then completely removed the shield on July 13, claiming it was unimportant, without diagnosing why it fell. 2. October 3, 2026: I received an official FCA recall notice regarding rear suspension safety. 3. …”

NHTSA complaint #11770516, filed 2026-10

“Purchased used 22 GC summit reserve V8 and within hours of leaving dealer I knew something was very wrong with the front suspension. Fast forward to used car dealership pointing fingers at Jeep for not fixing issues not disclosed to me before the sale and Jeep claiming shady dealer practices we now know it’s the Rack and Pinion bar and components. 7 grand out of pocket after a day of ownership is not happening. My vin is one of few not showing up for the recall Z18/NHTSA 22V-154. It’s a perfect description of the recall and my jeep is the correct year make and model. …”
