“The vehicle, 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee, was parked (not running & no occupants) under our car port. An extremely loud pop/explosion was heard and my spouse saw the Jeep rocking from side to side (no one was near it). I went to move it into our garage and the 'service air suspension system immediately' warning came on. The rear end of the vehicle is very low with the wheel wells barely above the low profile tires.”

NHTSA complaint #11322882, filed 2020-04, 71,741 miles

“Bought my 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee trailhawk used with 10,600 miles on it. Gas issues from the get go: when getting gas, the gas pump shuts off ever few seconds like the gas tank is full only allowing a few cents worth of gas to actually go in the vehicle. I have been to multiple gas stations and the same issue occurs at all of them, tried turning the nozzle to different angles and almost holding it all the way out of and in the tank, it does not matter though. …”

“Air ride suspension suspended warning vehicle was just started. Turned off restarted then vehicle engaged 4low and again indicated suspension system suspended.”

NHTSA complaint #11173188, filed 2019-01, 39,009 miles

“The PTU (transfer case) is not working. It started as more of a transmission issue. I would be driving at times and my transmission would not shift up. I had to manually shift my car to get it into gear. Now, it lead to knocking noises when I turn my steering wheel.”

NHTSA complaint #11687811, filed 2025-09

“Driving at approximately 20 mph on a busy highway, when accelerated to do a lane change, my vehicle did an extremely aggressive jolt and I can hear my engine struggling. I managed to move over lanes to the closest center divider and when i tried to put my car on Park it did not shift, it was stuck on drive. I had to apply the emergency foot break and turn off the vehicle. I quickly turned it back on and then i was able to shift to park. As i was being escorted by CHP to the right divider, the vehicle would jolt at the touch of the accelerator. …”
