“While driving the vehicle on a city street it started to accelerate on it's own and I had to slam on the breaks because of it doing that. Again one december 20th 2019 it did it again. I dont know what's causing it to be doing that but I've taking it to the dealership and nothing can be found wrong.”
NHTSA complaint #11297807, filed 2020-01, 10,000 miles“This happened twice today 10/24/2020. First time I was stopped at a turning light on a main road and as soon as I let off the break the engine shutoff. Second time I was in a residential neighborhood making a turn and the engine shutoff once again displaying the image attached.”
NHTSA complaint #11366150, filed 2020-10, 28,300 miles“I have had numerous issues with the transmission on this truck. The truck has been to dealerships ever since I bought it for transmission issues. New issue occurred this week while going 75mph and continually as I decreased speed down to 60mph. While driving at the high rate of speed the transmission would go from gear 10 straight to 1, causing the RPMs to spike and Redline once. This occurred 5 times during my drive within about 15 minutes until I was able to stop and leave the truck. …”
NHTSA complaint #11589105, filed 2024-05, 113,120 miles“While driving on the highway today, I needed to accel quickly to avoid being in the blind spot of another truck as I was merging onto a different highway. After getting past the truck, I let off the accelerator pedal, but the vehicle continued to speed up. When this happened, I assumed that the cruise control was somehow trying to resume so I tapped the brakes to cancel it, but nothing happened. I then put on brakes, but it was simply fighting the engine as the vehicle continued to accelerate. …”
NHTSA complaint #11398290, filed 2021-02, 7,000 miles“When driving in adaptive cruise control the vehicle will agreesively decelerate when passing on the left side of a large profile vehicle. The greater the speed difference between the two vehicles the greater the rate of deceleration. If the speed difference is about 35 MPH or greater the collision avoidance system will activate. This is potentially very dangerous on a crowded interstate with following vehicles very close.”
