“I was in a head on collision with another car. None of my airbags deployed. The fire department and police department were concerned and shocked that they did not deploy. They cut the wiring to the battery for fear it would deploy late and I was injured in the car with a firefighter holding my neck. My car was a total loss.”

“My wife was driving my kids to school and the jeep went into limp mode. This jeep relies too much on the battery to run everything and the batteries failed, at 39k and 2 years of ownership. It was showing steering, sos, brake, airbag, anti collision system failures with no prior warnings.”

NHTSA complaint #11632550, filed 2024-12

“Sometime after performing the B9A recall (NHTSA 23V-787) repair (my vehicle passed), my check engine light came on. Dealer felt there was faulty Airbag ORC sensor and this was replaced. Despite replacement the vehicle continues to throw check engine list with error DTC B273C. We opened a STAR case 6/16/25 and my local dealership kept the Jeep for a week. They stated Stellantis said there was no fix available. Still showing check engine light with B273C error despite replacing sensor.”

NHTSA complaint #11670105, filed 2025-06

“On April 21, 2025, at approximately 6:30 a.m., I was operating my vehicle on a public roadway near the intersection of 98th Street and Indiana Avenue in Lubbock, Texas. While I was traveling at approximately 45 miles per hour, another driver operating a pickup truck pulled out of a grocery store parking lot directly into my path of travel. The truck entered the roadway in front of my vehicle, leaving me unable to avoid a collision. The front of my vehicle struck the side of the pickup truck, resulting in a significant T-bone collision. …”

NHTSA complaint #11771211, filed 2026-10

“We were in a serious car accident. We were T-boned and rolled two or three times. We had to be pulled from the upside down Grand Cherokee. Our complaint is the fuel fill line broke and poured 23 gallons of raw gasoline into the car. My husband was overcome by the gas and and to be revived twice. I had blacked out due to the force of the air bags. We were okay with now, we were removed before the car exploded. The gas should have never entered the cabin!!! If our experience could help someone else we would be relieved.”
