“We were driving into our parking stall at home when our airbags deployed. As we reversed and drove forward to straighten our car in our stall we noticed the airbag light turn on suddenly and airbags automatically deployed. Our entire family was in the car and kids are traumatized. Super scary moment, and what if we were driving on the highway!”
NHTSA complaint #11279920, filed 2019-11, 107,593 miles“Airbag warning light on even after completing the original recall m35. Received letter from FCA in february 2015 advising of need for r06/15v-046; now as of august 4/2015 the airbag light is still on. I phoned the local dealer who stated parts were still not available! What should I do to ensure my vehicle safety is not being compromised?”

NHTSA complaint #10722290, filed 2015-05, 80,000 miles“It has been a year and half since I received my first notice that my Jeep had a recall. Safety recall m35/NHTSA 12-527. I have contacted my Jeep dealer at least four time in the last 12 months and was told there wasn't any parts for the repair or recall. How long do I have to wait for the repair as chrysler does seem to care if there are any parts to fix this recall.”
NHTSA complaint #10574831, filed 2014-03, 83,000 miles“I sent my car in to have the airbag system occupant restraint control module on my vehicle checked due to an issued recall on my vehicle. This issue was fixed as far as I know; however, during the repair, the center console of my Jeep where the gear changer is was broken and not repaired by the company. I do have a picture I can send to you, but don't see an option to attach it.”
